JRT is looking to add a safety Manager for a specific project with an approximate duration of 5 months. This would be a temporary assignment. JRT's Safety Manager plays a critical role in our company objectives in making sure our employees return home to their families each and every day.

Our Safety Manager has the responsibility to make sure that employees follow safety regulations and to supervise operations to promote the wellbeing of our employees. The duties include:

Job site safety walks with our field foreman and documenting the findings
Equipment Inspections
Documenting and initiating corrective actions for any unsafe practices identified
Working with foreman to identify potential risks and hazards both at job start-up and on-going operations
Investigating work site injuries or near misses
Creating and documenting Site Specific Safety Plans
Conducting new hire safety orientations
Reviewing construction contracts for safety requirements
Providing structured required training for field personnel in a classroom setting
Coordinating or facilitating CPR training
Assisting and administering JRT's Modified Duty Program
Assist in Sales Pre-Qualifications as it applies to Safety
Update customer referral platforms as it relates to Safety
Maintain inventory of company safety supplies
