HVAC/Sheet Metal Worker - New Construction

Job Description: We are looking for commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal installers with HVAC and sheet metal experience. If you have no/limited experience, you will be required to attend and commit to a 4 year apprenticeship program to learn the trade. Tuition and books are paid by JRT, classroom time is not paid and is typically 16 hours per month.

• Layout, measure, and mark out dimensions
• Assemble and Install heating, ventilating, and air conditioning duct work
• Install copper refrigerant lines, including brazing and soldering
• Assemble and install HVAC equipment
• Work off of sheet metal shop drawings and plans to install duct work and equipment
• Take field measurements, calculate offsets, and perform layouts
• Follow all established safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Complete any tasks assigned by HVAC foreman

Qualifications:

• Lift a minimum of 75 pounds safely
• Ability to work in scissor lifts when necessary

Compensation:

• Starting offer is based on experience.

The Work:

• Work is located throughout Washington and Oregon. Some overnight travel may be required.  Hotel and meals are covered by our per diem plan if travel is required.
• The projects are new construction.
• We perform a wide range of commercial work including warehouses, food processing, apartments, hotels, schools, and a variety of industrial types of work

Pay: $18.00 - $42.00 per hour DOE

Wages may also vary due to prevailing wage projects.
