JRT does perform a significant amount prevailing wage work and wages on those projects vary and are published by the State or Federal Agency.

Range: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour DOE for Private Work

Job Description:
We are looking for a commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal foreman or installers with at least 2 years HVAC/Sheet Metal experience. The duties for the journeyman position include:

Layout, measure, and mark out dimensions
Assemble and Install heating, ventilating, and air conditioning duct work
Install copper refrigerant lines, including brazing and soldering
Assemble and install HVAC equipment
Work off of sheet metal shop drawings and plans to install duct work and equipment
Take field measurements, calculate offsets, and perform layouts
Follow all established safety rules and regulations
Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Additional requirements for candidates interested in a Foreman position:

Collaborate with the Project Manager to insure appropriate manpower and material
Manage and direct HVAC/Sheet Metal Crews
Conduct safety inspections and pre-task plans
Attend weekly meetings with General Contractor/Owner
Daily task assignment for all crew members
Daily Reports and Timecards
