Job Description:
JRT is seeking an experienced Pipefitter who also has experience fitting/welding stainless or carbon. We are recruiting for a specific project in the Portland, Oregon area but will also have long term career opportunities for interested candidates after the project is completed in December of 2025. We're looking for someone that has accurate and has attention to detail in their work. If you're looking to work with a great group of people, please apply!
- Fit, thread or bolt-up carbon pipe
- Able to fit up piping in preparation to be welded
- Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings
- Clean and clear debris and hazardous material from pipes as needed
- Includes installation of piping supports such as hanger/strut/all-thread etc.
- Experience with hydronic systems
- Weld pipe including carbon and stainless steel
- Either certified or qualified to be certified to weld pipe in the 6G position
- SMAW and TIG experience desired
The Work:
- Work located in Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas.
- The projects are new construction with approximately 50%+ of our work prevailing wages.
- We perform a wide range of work including apartments, hotels, to schools, and large industrial warehouses and industrial facilities

Wages for this specific project are $47.53 an hour with a fringe package of $32.57. Work on other projects will be based on skills and experience and negotiated prior to employment.

Wages are variable due to prevailing wages and dependent on projects.
